Is everyone being heard ?

 An idea was developed in Finland, that when someone has a psychotic outbreak, the decisions on what to do should not be at the hands of professionals, especially psychiatrists, only. 

Everyone has a voice. Everyone should be heard.

So, so and so had outbreack, he went to the street naked. The family is puzzled.A psychistrist comes. Usually that will be considered an extravagance greater than a normal person would ever do, and those who do this sort of thing, they are the famous " Schizophrenic '. 

And then, the " scientific" protocol is that this person likely has an excess of dopamine in the brain, which will be controled by some drugs that will act in your brain to diminish the dopamine there. And then, often the person diagnosed will be compulsirely interned in a psychiatric facility, as the person is dangerous to himself and to others.

But then in Finland, they started giving voice to everyone. The family members, professionals, and, the person in the centre of concern also! 

This dialogue proved helpfull!The need of internations dropped dramatically. And is actually the main idea to be discussed in this blog.

However, I have a question. Is everyone being heard? 

For some Afro Brazilians not! 

For them, we live in an interaction with deities. Who have to be heard! 

This approach would take a lot of words and studies to be comprehensively explained here. 

However, look how interesting.

I am dizzy for some days already. And the explanation might be surprising!

For some people here, there are humans who are very sensible and can work as sponges.

 It goes like this: So and so had an oubreak. With time, I start talking to him. Then a surprising thing might happen. The interaction is such, that a bad spirit, who led him to go out naked,  passes on to me. As if I were absorbing it, as a sponge. And then from me it goes away, to somewhere. 

The dizzines I feel could be the spirit going away! 

I have interacted with someone with whom I have a bond, this person had a bad spirit inside, but now the spirit is in the cosmos, not troubling anyone anymore.

Of course, the discussion goes far, but here is a starter.

Couldn´t it be that there are more things in heaven and earth than Horatio thought?

I personally think there are, and might explain some features of Schizophrenia, and also the effects and side effects of many drugs.

A shared house

 I live in a house together with other people who struggle with some diagnose. We are nine people here. This is very different from a hospital, mainly because we are free to get out to the streets whenever we want. And the nursery treat me as an adult, as a ctitizen like any other. In hospitals, from my experience, sometimes nurses even engage in some bullying activities. Such as saying there are people who need to work hard to survive, and as you don´t, you are priveleged, and therefore not entitled to complain about whatever.  I think the main problem of schizophrenia is pessimism. There´s a spirit that enters our mind, and says there that everything will always go wrong. If you are locked, that´s fertile environment for this spirit to thrive. But here, I can develop life projects, as for example there´s a theatre play I wrote and perform, and folks here are helping me find a theatre to present it.
